News: Man critically hurt in vehicle-pedestrian collision in Islington 

TORONTO, ON – A man was left in critical condition as a result of a vehicle-pedestrian collision in the Islington neighbourhood on Tuesday.

The man was struck by a white minivan while walking in the area of Dundas Street West and Islington Avenue, Toronto City News reports.

First responders pulled up to the scene around 8 a.m. and rushed the pedestrian, in his 50s, to a hospital for treatment.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and has not reported any citations for them.
