News: Man fatally struck by transport truck in North York 

NORTH YORK, ON – A man lost his life after being struck by a transport truck on Highway 400 North on Saturday morning, CTV News said.

The pedestrian-truck crash occurred along Finch Avenue and led to closures that lasted for a few hours.

All lanes have since reopened.

At this time, Ontario Provincial Police do not believe foul play was to blame for the pedestrian-truck crash and have not reported citations or arrests for the driver.

OPP are actively working to piece together the events leading up to the collision.
