News: Man in 70s killed in auto-pedestrian crash in Mississauga 

MISSISSAUGA, ON –A man in his 70s was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash that took place in the Port Credit area on Thursday, CTVNews reports.

The man in his 70s was crossing the intersection of Lakeshore Road East and Stavebank Road when he was struck by a blue Chevy Trax car.

EMS crews transported the male pedestrian to a hospital, where he later died.

The car driver remained at the scene.

Peel Regional Police have not announced any citations or charges for the driver, and are actively working to learn more about the events leading up to the auto-pedestrian crash.
