News: Man’s life claimed in collision with parked truck in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – A man’s life was claimed in a collision involving a parked truck that happened in the Islington – City Centre West on Monday, CTV News reports.

The crash occurred in the area of Shorncliffe Road & Bramshott Road. Based on what we know so far, it appears one unspecified vehicle struck a parked car.

Police responded to the scene after 6:30 p.m. and declared a man dead at the scene.

Closures followed to allow crews to remove the impacted vehicles and clean up debris from the crash.

Police did not specify whether the victim was a vehicle driver or passenger, inside the parked truck, or a pedestrian.

Police are working to determine the continuing factors behind the collision.
