News: Motorcyclist, 32, killed in left-turn wreck in York

TORONTO, ON – A 32-year-old man operating a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle passed away after he collided with a Honda Civic turning left on Dufferin Street in the York area Saturday.

According to CBC, this collision occurred before 1:30 a.m. along St. Clair Avenue West. When both vehicles collided, the impact caused the 32-year-old man to get thrown from his bike, and first responders rushed him to a local hospital, where he later passed away.

Toronto police originally said the Honda driver, a 22-year-old woman, did not remain at the scene but later provided a correction saying she did and confirmed she cooperated with investigators.

First responders shut down the area for several hours, saying they reopened the area after 1 p.m.
