TORONTO, ON – Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle collision last Saturday night, July 13, in East York that left a motorcyclist seriously injured, reports CTV News Toronto.
The incident occurred at the corner of O’Connor Drive and Amsterdam Avenue, shortly before 10:30 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but images captured at the scene indicate the motorcycle was extensively damaged, and debris could be seen scattered across the roadway.
Toronto Police said the rider, who suffered major injuries, was transported to an area hospital.
It’s unclear whether the other driver was injured, but they remained at the site following the wreck.
An investigation remains ongoing.
