News: Pedestrians hurt after getting hit by vehicle along Mississauga’s Walmart Supercentre

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Two pedestrians were injured after they were struck by a vehicle outside Walmart Supercentre on Lakeshore Road on Wednesday, CTV News reports.

The pedestrian-vehicle collision happened around 10:30 p.m. at Lakeshore Road East and Beechwood Avenue.

EMS crews transported one pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and the other pedestrian to a trauma centre for treatment of critical injuries.

Officials closed Lakeshore Road between Beechwood Avenue and Hampton Court for several hours for the on-scene clean-up process and investigation.

Police are actively working to determine the events leading to the pedestrian-vehicle collision and have not announced any citations or charges against the driver at this time.
