SCARBOROUGH, ON – Toronto police are currently on the hunt for a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run crash that sent a 59-year-old man to the hospital.
The crash happened before midnight on Saturday in the area of McCowan Road and Ellesmere Road, according to CTV News.
Images show a significantly damaged white sedan with two doors open, and a mangled black car. One of the drivers hit a curb before colliding with another vehicle.
The suspect then fled the scene of the crash prior to the first responders’ arrival.
One of the involved occupants, a 59-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was sent to the emergency room.
Officials did not specify whether the 59-year-old man was a driver or passenger, nor have they confirmed what vehicle the suspect drove.
