AJAX, ON – A 13-year-old girl riding a bicycle was flown via medical helicopter to a trauma centre after she was struck by an SUV on Rossland Road West Thursday.
This collision happened before 7:45 p.m. between Carter Bennett Drive and Ravenscroft Road, according to CBC.
Preliminary details show that the SUV was a black Hyundai Sante Fe, and the driver, traveling on southbound StevensGate Drive, had hit the teenage girl as she was using a crosswalk.
As of 1 p.m., the teenager remains in a life-threatening condition.
