News: Toronto Police respond to injury crash involving multiple vehicles in Scarborough

TORONTO, ON – A multi-vehicle wreck Sunday morning, April 21, in Toronto’s Scarborough district left two people injured, one seriously, according to CP24.

The accident was reported in area of Eglinton Avenue East between Thermos Road and Birchmount Road, prompting a response from Toronto Police some time after 9:00 a.m.

An investigation into the cause of the crash remains underway, but one person was rushed to an area trauma centre with serious injuries, and another person was transported with injuries considered minor.

A span of westbound Eglinton Avenue East was blocked after Birchmount Road as crews worked to clear the scene.
