News: Transport-scooter wreck in Brampton sends man to hospital

BRAMPTON, ON – A man riding a scooter was rushed to a trauma centre in serious condition after he collided with a transport truck in the Bramalea Woods area Friday.

Peel Regional Police said this collision was reported around 6:33 p.m. and said they and crews shut down the intersection of Dixie Road and Queen Street East to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation. During these closures, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.

Officers have not provided a formal statement regarding the exact cause of this crash or an update on the scooter rider’s current condition.
