News: Truck plows into Hwy. 401 barrier on icy road in Mississauga 

MISSISSAUGA, ON – A driver of an 18-wheeler lost control of their steering wheel, which led them to crash into a concrete barrier on the icy Highway 401 express lanes Thursday. 

Ontario Provincial Police’s Highway Safety Division said the solo collision happened before 1:45 p.m. along Hurontario Street.

First responders said the truck operator was not seriously injured but did not elaborate on their exact physical condition. Officers also declined to confirm whether icy road conditions were a contributing factor in the wreck.
