News: Woman, 35, fatally hit by box truck in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – A 35-year-old woman was fatally struck by a box truck along the Alex Marchetti Park on Thursday, CTVNews reports. 

The pedestrian collision occurred near the intersection of Islington Avenue and Dixon Road. Preliminary details show that the box truck driver was turning right onto westbound Dixon from southbound Islington when they collided with the 35-year-old woman. 

The pedestrian, the 35-year-old woman, died from her injuries at the scene. 

Toronto police have started a full investigation.
