News: Woman, 91, fatally struck by vehicle in Hamilton 

HAMILTON, ON – A 91-year-old woman lost her life after she was fatally struck by a vehicle in Hamilton on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Stone Church Road East and Upper Wellington Street, CTV News reports. The woman was walking with her walker in a bike lane when she was rear-ended by a vehicle.

EMS hurried to the scene and rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later died.

Police confirmed the driver, an 81-year-old adult, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. At this time, no criminal charges appeared to have been filed against them.
