News: Woman critically hurt after Uber crashes into pole in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – A female passenger was left in critical condition as a result of an Uber collision that took place on The Queensway on Monday.

Toronto City News said the Uber collision occurred before 3 a.m. west of South Kingsway. Police said for reasons unclear, an Uber driver, going west, crashed their car into a pole, leaving a female passenger critically injured.

EMS personnel rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed the driver was uninjured and said only Uber was involved in the crash.

Authorities closed The Queensway between South Kingsway and Park Lawn Road for the on-scene clean-up process and investigation.

Officials are actively working to determine the events leading to the Uber collision.
