SCARBOROUGH, ON – A woman in her 20s was sent to a hospital following a vehicle-pedestrian crash in Scarborough on Sunday.
CTV News said the woman in her 20s was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of Morningside Avenue and Coronation Drive.
First responders pulled up to the scene after 11 a.m. and rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Toronto Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and has not announced any citations or filed charges at this time.
Police are continuing to investigate the contributing factors behind the vehicle-pedestrian crash.
