MISSISSAUGA, ON – A woman was rushed to the hospital this morning after she was hit by a vehicle in southwest Mississauga.

According to a report by City News, the woman was walking in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and The Chase at about 7 a.m. when she was hit by an unspecified vehicle.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. No information on her identity is available at this time.

The driver invovled cooperated with police at the scene.
