Lucas Neves
Junior Lawyer
Lucas started his academic journey at York University where he majored in Law and Society and obtained a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in 2020, finishing in the top 15% of his faculty. He then eagerly sought his law degree at the University of Windsor and received his Juris Doctor in 2023. During law school, Lucas excelled at courses such as automobile insurance law, tort law, and legal writing and research. These particular areas of study ultimately encouraged him to pursue a career in personal injury litigation.
Throughout his time at law school, Lucas was an active member of the UWindsor community and participated in the Peer Mentorship Program in each of his 3 years. In his second year, he began assisting new law students with the difficult transition to law school and to a new city. He also volunteered as an in-class tutor for elementary school students who were struggling with their mathematics, reading, and writing skills.
Lucas was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024 and has dedicated his legal practice to personal injury litigation, specifically focussing on motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. When he is not practicing law, you will likely find Lucas at the gym, watching soccer or basketball, hiking, or travelling.
