Stefanie joined Grillo Barristers in 2011 as an articling student and was called to the Bar in 2012.
Stefanie has devoted her career to advocating on behalf of injured individuals. Throughout the years, Stefanie has successfully settled hundreds of injury and disability claims. Stefanie is committed to justice and the rights of accident victims.
Stefanie has expertise in handling complex or catastrophic claims, Accident Benefits disputes, slip/trip and fall claims, assaults, and short-term and long-term disability appeals.
Stefanie proudly offers her legal services in Portuguese.
Before joining the firm, Stefanie attended law school at the University of Windsor. She graduated in the top third of her class and was the recipient of the Dean’s Achievement Award in Non-Traditional Advocacy. In law school, Stefanie was the editor-in-chief of the school’s satirical publication, director of the 2010 production of Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues, and a member of the Omar Khadr pro-bono student working group.
Prior to attending law school, Stefanie received her B.A. (HONS) from the University of Toronto where she graduated with high distinction.
Stefanie is a member, in good standing, with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
