News: Man hospitalized after crash in Toronto’s East End 

TORONTO, ON – A man was sent to the hospital with treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries after a Thursday night crash in the east end.

CTV News said the collision happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Gerrard Street and Hannaford Street. Video footage shows a mangled red car and a white work van with moderate rear-end damage.

The details leading up to the crash are unclear. However, based on what officials know so far, it seems that one of the vehicles crashed into a pole, causing it to tumble over.

Police are continuing to investigate the details leading up to the collision.
